JOB CONDITIONS :
$30 to $35 / hour : SAAQ mechanical inspector
- Mechanical inspection of light and heavy road vehicles
- Using the SAAQ’s methods
- Experience, skills and certifications are considered assets
- Overtime allowed
- Permanent, full-time OR part-time
- Many benefits
- Daytime, Monday to Friday

JOB DESCRIPTION :
We’re a Société de l’assurance automobile du Québec (SAAQ) agent that provides inspection services for vehicles required to undergo mechanical inspections.
Our operations are founded on a commitment to the highest quality standards and continuous improvement of our services and processes.
Road vehicles with GVWR of 4,500 kg or more
• Mechanical inspection;
• Photometric inspection;
• Preventative maintenance program.
Road vehicles with GVWR under 4,500 kg
Mechanical inspection;
• Photometric inspection;
• Preventative maintenance program;
• Technical expertise in severely damaged and rebuilt vehicles;
• Mechanical inspection of hand-crafted or modified vehicles.
CONSIDERED SKILLS :
- Vocational diploma in mechanics;
- Preventative maintenance program (PEP) certification;
- SAAQ mechanical inspector certification;
- Class 2 driver’s licence.
